Lock-ups with Expendible, TAKingdoms, and MechWarrior3

Hi all:

Expendible freezes after intro, TAKingdoms freezes 10 secs into game play, Mechwarrior3 backs out to desktop halfway thru intro.. TechDemo works flawless... Any suggestions?


System: Dual PII 333, 256mb RAM, Tyan S1692DL Tiger LX board, 52X Kenwood CD Drive, IBM SCSI 9gb HD X2, Syquest Sparq, G400MAX, 21inch Viewsonic P815

Try changing your AGP aperture in your BIOS. For some it helps to increase it, other to decrease it. Make sure you're not shadowing or caching your VGA bios. Finally, you can try forcing AGP 1x via the reg hack available at http://www.murc.ws/Utils/PD5RegHacks.zip .

In order to play expendable without the cd, copy the BDF directory from the cd to your expendable directory on your hard drive (thanks to Olivier for that one).

That's all we've come up with so far.
