  • Homeworld Demo, Kaboom!?

    This demo sends me to the BIOS screen after I select my options or just try to play it, anyone else have better luck?

    Geez, and I was just about to ask if any of you had tried the demo. I'm at work (?) now, but I'll try it when I get home.

      I played in the beta and never had any problems exactly what does it or you do before it crashes?

        Turns out that reinstalling DirectX 6.1 did the trick, not sure why, I'm pretty sure I had it installed already. Anyway, it worked. Just finished the demo, wish it were longer.

          Yeah, looks and plays great. I hope the final release isn't too far away.
