G400+SBLive+5.13=Extreme MIDI slowdown in FF7?

Hi, I have the configuration as above, and whenever I play FF7, the MIDI slows down (literally)...Any idea why this is so? It didn't happen with my G200...

Do you have Quicktime 3.x+ installed? and is the G400 working in hardware acceleration mode? (5.13 drivers didn't like ff7)
